Rwanda Gorilla Safari and Primates Trails
Day 1: ARRIVAL AAT KANOMBE AIRPORT
Arrival in Kigali – getting to know your tour guide – Go for a city tour in Rwanda. this will take you to the Genocide Memorials and many other places including Market Places . Dinner and over night at Hotel Des Mille Collines / Hotel Serena Kigali / Chez lando.
Day 2: GORILLA TRACKING IN RWANDA
Early drive to Ruhengeri in the North – first trekking in the bamboo forests of Volcanoes National Park and visit to one of the last mountain gorilla families in the world, one of the absolute highlights in the lives of many nature lovers – optional visit to a group of local witch doctors and fortune tellers as well as the “snake man”. Dinner and over night at Mt Gorilla nest / Volcanoes Lodge / Kinigi Guest House.
Day 3: ANOTHER GORILLA TRACKING
Go for a nother gorilla tracking in Volcanoes National Park tracking in another Mountain gorilla family– drive Gisenyi at the northern shores of Lake Kivu – optional African party or romantic evening at the lake Mt Gorilla nest / Volcanoes Lodge / Kinigi Guest House.
Day 4: TO KABALE
Go Golden monkey tracking and then in the afternoon will will hike to the Dianne fossey then after drive to Kabale for dinner and over night at Habuharo Island Camp / Arcadia Cottages/ Bushara Island .
Day 5 TO QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK
Transfer to Queen Elizabeth for and over night at Mweya safari Lodge or Institute of Ecology
Day 6 THE LAUNCH CRUISE ALONG THE KAZINGA CHANNEL
Go for an early morning game drive and an afternoon launch cruise.
Day 7 TO KIBALE NATIONAL PARK
Transfer to Kibale national park then go for an afternoon Chimpanzee tracking .Dinner and over night at Mountains of the moon / Ndali Lodge/ Rwenzori View Guest house/ Kanyankyu tourist centre
Day 8 TO L . MBURO NATIONAL PARK
Transfer To L. Mburo national park. take A canoe ride in the afternoon and then an evening game drive before thier dinner and over night at Mihingo Lodge.
Day 9 Transfer to Kampala.
Since we added in accommodation in L. Mburo which is more expenssive than the prior planned accommodation of Kampala we cannot add in Rafting unless they pledge to pay for it and the extra night if they are to be droped in Jinja.
