Uganda Wildlife Tour
DAY 1: Queen Elizabeth Wildlife Safari
You will be picked up from your hotel in Kampala very early in the morning by a guide from our company who will drive you towards the west from Kampala and have a stop over at the equator for photographs. Proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park following the mystical Rwenzori Mountain range for much of the journey. A game drive En route may be ventured with encounters of Lions, Elephants, Leopards, Buffaloes, Hyenas and a variety of Antelope species. Take pleasure in the unique evening 2-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel and into Lake Edward. This trip passes through almost certainly the uppermost deliberation of schools of Hippos and many animals may be observed drinking at the water’s edge. This launch cruise offers an excellent platform for photography, bird watching and game viewing. The prolific bird life is colorful and stupendous with over 550 resident species. Dinner and over night at Mweya Safari Lodge/ Jacana safari Lodge / Institute of Ecology.
Day 2: TO BWINDI NP
Take a cup of coffee or Tea. With your packed breakfast embark on an early morning game drive along Kasenyi track and Queens mile in the park and look ahead to see Lions, Elephants, cape buffalo, Warthogs, leopard, hyena, mangoose, waterbucks, Uganda kobs, Topi and lots many small animals and birds. Proceed to Bwindi via Maramagambo and Ishasha sector. As you drive along the road via Ishasha sector, animals such as the waterbucks, elephant, buffalo, kobs, antelopes, can be encountered along the road. Relax around the Resort camp as you wait for dinner and over night at the luxurious Gorilla Resort camp/ BUHOMA HOMESTEAD/ BUHOMA COMMUNITY BANDAS
Day 3: Bwindi Gorilla Safari.
There is an early morning access into the gorilla sanctuary. The rainforest is spectacular as it offers a dramatic, heavily forested and dense landscape crisscrossed by numerous animal trails, allowing access for tourists. This park is famous for the intriguing gorillas. The time taken to track these gorillas is unpredictable but an encounter of these primates is a worthwhile. The adventure of spending time with and scrutinizing these gentle giant gorillas is a peculiar, moving, awesome and exciting adventure that will leave you with long lasting reminiscences of a truly unique experience. The gorillas are introverted and peaceful animals and it is an unforgettable experience to watch and photograph them as they play and interact. Dinner and overnight at your lodge
Day 4 TO L. MBURO NP
After an early breakfast, you will drive to Lake Mburo National Park and enter the Park through the Nshara Gate. Enjoy an afternoon boat trip along the Lake Mburo. Dinner and overnight at Mantana tented camp.
Day 5 TO KAMPALA
The morning game drive will take you along the lakeshore track and with its own system of game trails and cleared walkways; the “Kigambara Loop” offers interesting guided lakeside walks. Here you can find herds of zebra, cape buffalo and eland, and Oribi and topi are easy to approach. Bird watchers will enjoy more than 250 species of birds found in Lake Mburo including Papyrus Gonoleks, Brown-faced Lapwings. Carruther’s Cisticolas, the extraordinary White winged Warbler and Bare-Faced Go-away bird. You will then have lunch en route and proceed to Kampala.
